Robert “Bob” S. Correa, 72, of San Antonio Tx, passed away Friday, August 30, 2024 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Edmund G. and Leonora (Correia) Correa and the husband of Carol Correa to whom he was married for 36 years.
Beside his wife Bob is survived by his children, Kim DeStasi and her husband Gary of Winchendon MA, Robert J. Correa of Lunenburg MA, Kerri Lyden and her husband Timothy of Petersham MA, John Plimpton of San Antonio TX, Steven Correa and his wife Amy of Ashburnham MA, Madonna Swan and her husband Carl of San Antonio TX and Paul Correa and his wife Nina of San Antonio TX. He is also survived by his 22 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 brother, 6 sisters and is predeceased by his sister Jeannette Correa and his grandson Nikolas Guzman.
Bob was born and raised in Hudson, MA and a graduate of Hudson Catholic High School. He was a talented drummer and alumni of the Hudson CYO band. Bob made his home in San Antonio 45 years ago. He enjoyed driving 18-wheeler trucks cross country for 50 years before retiring at 65. Bob loved working in his garage, racing cars and building race cars, he was also an avid football fan and enjoyed making puzzles. He loved his family, playing with his grandchildren and cuddling with his beloved dog Lola.
