Robert Edgar Rogers, Jr.

Robert E. Rogers, Jr. went to be with our heavenly father on Monday, April 27, 2015. He was born to Robert E. Rogers and Velma Louise Rogers on November 21, 1935 in Winter Garden, Florida. He was fighting a illness for a month and did not suffer in the end. He is in heaven with Uncle Britt & Aunt Annie, and Mom & Pop Rogers. He will be missed by us all as a man who lived on his own terms, be it with laughter and always have a great time with friends and family. He is survived by his wife, 5 children, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Dad enjoyed many things in life, but especially square dancing, reading, winemaking, playing bridge, serving as Scoutmaster for many years with the Boy Scouts, camping at the Philmont Scout Ranch and camping across the US and into Canada, as well as, hunting and fishing. We love you Dad and thanks for all the great memories! Rest in peace.
