Robert M. Hargis passed from this life on May 02, 2024. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
One of Robert's biggest accomplishments was being a father. He considered himself lucky enough to have three: Robert Jr., Stephanie, and Steven. They often saw their dad as a superhero - invincible - and even as adults, still see him that way. He was always there for them through their ups and downs and taught them to let go and enjoy every moment life has to offer. After serving his country in the Navy (Vietnam War), he went on to be self-employed most of his life until retiring to be with his family.
He is predeceased by his parents Benjamin and Lucy, his son Robert Jr., his grandson Ian, his brother Benjamin Jr. and his sister Sandra.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife Mary, his two children Stephanie and Steven, his daughter-in-law Chiara, son-in-law Bassam, and his grandchildren Lily, Adam, and Sami - His grandkids were the absolute joy in his life.
He is survived by his brother Steven, nieces, nephews and cousins.
We will forever miss him, his humor, laughter and endless knowledge of all history. We all love you. May you rest in peace until we all meet again.
