Robert Olin King

Robert Olin King, much beloved husband and father, passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 59 surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with renal cell carcinoma. Rob was born on September 7, 1965, in San Antonio, Texas to Clarence Morgan King, Sr. and Georgia Eleanor (Napier) King. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, as well as his brother, Clarence Morgan King, Jr. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 34 years, Michelle King, his daughter Caitlin Mosmeyer, his son Justin King, his daughter-in-law, My Duyen King, and his sister-in-law Joan Carroll.

Rob attended Theodore Roosevelt High School and San Antonio College and worked as a medical courier for Nix Hospital and Methodist Hospital, before retiring due to his health. He was a “people person” and his intelligence, humor and good nature made him a favorite of others wherever he went. He enjoyed old movies and classic t.v. shows, listening to music, watching sports, and spending time with his family. He also loved to travel with his wife and family and saw much of the U.S. and visited many countries around the world. The stories and good memories of shared adventures and misadventures will be told and keep us laughing for years to come. His life was not long enough, but it was filled with enough love and laughter to fill many lifetimes. His humor and kindness touched many lives and he will truly be missed by not only his family, but also by all those who were lucky enough to know him and call him friend.
