Our beloved son, brother, and father Robert (Bobby) Fredrick Knight passed away June 6, 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by family.

Bobby was born on July 2, 1978, at Brooke Army Medical Center - Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He proudly served in the United States Army, with tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Luton Knight, and his sister, Kathy Knight. Grandparents Dan Lee and Mamie Francis Pope, Josephine Kulaja Knight, and Ron Knight Sr.

Bobby is survived by his daughters: (twins) Kaitlyn and Brianna Knight, Justyce and Julie Elizabeth (Ellie) Knight. He is survived by his loving sister, Janette Nicole Knight Navaira, brother Thomas Edward Knight (Megan), mother Nan Elizabeth (Liz) Pope and step-father Marvin Lee (Butch) Bowers. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bobby’s loved ones will remember his vibrant spirit, and miss his entertaining personality!

Mass will be held June 26, 2024, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4411 Moana Drive, San Antonio at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:30 AM with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to The Cancer Society, The Fisher House Foundation, or The Wounded Warrior Project. A reception to celebrate Bobby’s life is to follow at the VFW, Post 2059- 3202 Ackerman Road in Kirby, Texas.
