Robert R. Marcus

Robert R. (Bob) Marcus, born December 26, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York, lived and worked in Boston, Massachusetts for more than 30 years before retiring to San Antonio, Texas in 1993. Robert died surrounded by loved ones at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital on November 5th, 2014. Beloved husband Gile W. (Guy) Brainard shared more than 42 years together and married for the past six of those years. After an honorable discharge from the United States Army, Bob had a 35 year career with U.S. Fire Insurance Company. Bob is survived by his husband Guy, sister and brother-in-law Jean and Ted Leskiewicz and several nieces and nephews of Cape Coral, Florida. A memorial service will be held in the near future at Metropolitan Community Church of San Antonio with Senior Pastor Mick Hinson and Pastor Alfredo Pena presiding. In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to a charity of your choice.
