Robert Terrazas, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on November 23, 2023. Born on July 14, 1957, in San Antonio, Tx, Robert's life was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
Robert held his family close to his heart. The bond he shared with his wife of many years, Sandra Obregon Terrazas, was one of unwavering love and strength. Their love served as an inspiration to their children - RoseAnn Terrazas Camacho and her husband Jesse, Tina Terrazas Carpenter and her husband Michael; Robert Terrazas Jr. and his wife Juliana; Marcie Terrazas Pope and her husband Joshua Ray - as they navigated their own paths through life.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents Fidencio Lugo Terrazas and Anita Barrientes Terrazas as well as his sibling Raul Terrazas (brother). He is survived by Linda Terrazas Morales (sister), Albert Terrazas (brother), and Anita Diana Terrazas Bustamante (sister). Their bond was unbreakable, and the memories they shared will continue to bring comfort during this time of loss.
As a father and grandfather, Robert created countless joyful memories that will be treasured for generations to come. His face would instantly light up whenever he saw the familiar faces of his grandchildren: Brian Terrazas Carpenter, Sandra Terrazas Carpenter, Izabella Terrazas, Cruz Terrazas, Jesse James Terrazas Camacho, Victor Terrazas, Richard Terrazas Carpenter, Sofia Terrazas Camacho, and Vida Terrazas Carpenter along with numerous nieces and nephews. His enduring love was always present in their lives.
As an active member of his church, he found solace in the guidance provided by Derrick Thomas, both pastor and brother and his wife Kwajalein.
As we mourn the loss of Robert Terrazas, let us also celebrate the beautiful life he lived. Let us carry forward his spirit of compassion and empathy as we navigate our own journeys. In honoring his memory, let us extend kindness to others, embrace our loved ones tightly, and cherish each precious moment that life presents.
Rest in peace, dear Robert Terrazas.
