Robert Thomas Dunn

Robert Thomas Dunn, age 91, passed away on April 25, 2019 in San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by infant daughter, Rhonda Ruth Dunn. He is survived by his son, Michael Dunn and his wife Kathleen, of Santa Cruz, CA and his daughter, Kim Haese and her husband Tom, of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren (Nathaniel, Andrew, Stephanie, Matthew, Caroline, and Clarey) and 4 great-grandchildren (Peter, Jackson, Zoey, and Cedar).

Born in Twin Falls, ID on 5 Oct 1927, Robert lived the majority of his adult life in the city of San Antonio, TX where he retired from the US Air Force in 1970. A 1945 graduate from Box Elder High School in Brigham City, UT, Robert was one of six children of Elizabeth and James Dunn. Robert was the last of his family’s generation and was the beloved uncle to his siblings children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He will also be missed by Karen McQueen, Kathleen Passant, and Rick Passant of San Antonio and their families.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, 2 June at 4:00 PM for friends and family at Bulverde Community Bible Church located at: 7100 US-281, Spring Branch, TX 78070.

Robert’s remains will be buried Monday, 3 June at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are welcome at the graveside. (Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
