Rocky Ibarra Gaitan

January 9, 1974 — August 5, 2022

Rocky Ibarra Gaitan, born in Wisconsin on January 9, 1974 (Texan by heart, Cheese Head by Birth), made his journey to heaven too soon on August 5, 2022. Rocky graduated from John Jay High School in 1993. He joined the Marine Corp in 1997, where he met and married the love of his life, Dalila Holguin, in 2000. They had two sons Brandon Lee Gaitan 21 years old, and Anakin Dean Gaitan, 16 years old, and beloved fur-son, a German Schnauzer, Jake From State Farm, 7 years old. Rocky’s passing leaves a large hole in the hearts of many.

Rocky was a much-beloved husband, father, brother, son, and friend. He leaves behind his wife and sons. He also leaves behind his Mother & Stepfather, Grace & Robert Butler, Father Heriberto Gaitan and Stepmother Vickie Bernal, Sisters, Sandee, Kisha, Jessica & Brianna, and brothers, Edward, Maurice, Robert C. & Robert Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also very much loved by his co-workers at Burbank High School in SAISD. Rocky was an amazing husband and father and took pride in providing for his family. His most precious accomplishment was in being a father, and he was not shy about projecting his love for his sons to the world. He was an extremely hard worker and was very dedicated to his profession. He led by example.

You may have left this world, but you will never leave our hearts!
