Roy William Silvers Sr.

Roy "Buddy" Silvers, Sr. passed away on November 22, 2013. Buddy was born and raised in San Antonio. After serving in the Army in Vietnam, he returned home to welcome his first son, Roy Jr., into the world in 1975. In 1983 he met and married the love of his life Marcie, whom he was married to for thirty years. Then in 1986 their loving son, Todd Curtis was born. Retiring after 35 years in the electrical trade, Buddy found his passions for golf, gambling and traveling. Buddy spent his last six years doing what he loved. He spent four days a week on the golf course, hours in the casinos, traveling and most important to him, spending time with his wife, son, family, friends and dogs. We will love him forever and keep him close to our hearts.
