Ruben G. Zamorano

Beloved Husband, Ruben Gamez Zamorano, entered Heaven at 74 years of age on January 14, 2021. Ruben was born on January 11, 1947 in Monterrey, Mexico. Ruben became a U.S. citizen when he was 19 years of age. Ruben graduated from Caprock High School in Amarillo, Texas. He received an associate degree at Amarillo College and a Bachelor of Arts degree fromthe University of Texas at Austin. He continued his education at The University of Michigan where he received his Master of Social Work. He also received a master’s degree in Public Health while attending Berkley University of California where he becamea Professor. Ruben was well educated, although his true love and passion was serving The Lord Jesus Christ. Ruben was preceded in death by his Father, Mother, Grandmother and two brothers. He is survived by his wife Mary Helen, brother Arturo (Patricia), daughter Nydia, grandson Aramis, and many nieces and nephews. Stepchildren Hector(Sylvia), Robert (Esther), Oscar (Carmen), grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
