Ruth Ann Thomson

Ruth Ann Richter Thomson, loving wife and mother passed away on January 20, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. She was born March 21, 1942 to Frank and Ruth Richter in Cost, Texas. She married the love of her life Jesse H “Jackie” Thomson III in August of 1961. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Keith (Cindy) Thomson, Kim (Marc) Olson and Tracie (Art) Kiolbassa. By grandchildren: Brandon, Montana, Kolton, Bethany, and Joy. By siblings, Kenneth (Sandy) Richter and Donna (Lane) Brodman, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ruth leaves a legacy of special love and was the happiest when with her family. She had a love for animals and that love was not limited to just dogs and cats but also for lions, pigs, possums and more. She kept her friends close at heart and enjoyed seeing them, along with the Harlandale get togethers. She loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas and could sit at a slot machine for hours. She loved the outdoors, including hunting, gardening, as well as in indoor cooking, reading, crossword puzzles and playing games,
Her warm and affectionate smile along with hugs and kisses will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
