She was raised and educated in numerous locations while growing up, accompanying her parents to
many different military assignments around the world. She graduated in 1963 from Clearwater High
School in Clearwater, Florida. Upon having her children Sally enjoyed traveling once again. While living
in Germany, Sally received an Associates of Arts degree and a Bachelor’s degree in business

Patient Accounting at hospitals in Florida and Virginia. Upon retiring from her hospital career, Sally
became an ordained Deacon in July 2010 while living in Minot, ND. She served in numerous churches
culminating in her position with Saint Matthew’s Episcopal Church in San Antonio, TX.
Sally’s passion has always been to serve and take care of others; from her children to her family, friends,
parishioners and even her pets, Sally always put the comfort and care of others above her own
throughout her entire life. She was an inspiration to many, full of dreams and ideas on how we could
make our little slice of this world better. Her family and friends are forever blessed with a lifetime of joy
and memories she brought to us all, and we each are eternally grateful for the love and compassion she
taught each of us. She will be dearly missed.
