Scott went to be with our Lord on July 15, 2010 at 1:10 AM, after a difficult battle withCancer.
Scott was a very hard working dedicated long haul driver and a local driver of thirty-three years. He was also a very dedicated Reserve Volunteer Fire Fighter and EMT with the Kirby Fire Department for eight years. He always achieved excellence in all of his endeavors. He will be much missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother Elsie Mae Pais and is survived by his father, Robert Pais.
He leaves a loving wife, Veronica Renee Pais; three sons, Jerry Pais (Ashley), Chris Tandy (Jessica), and Brian Tandy (Jessica), his daughter Brandy and eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Scott and Veronica want to extend many thanks to Mickey and Chris for all their help during this difficult time. May God bless you both.
God saw you were getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms around you,
And whispered, Come to me.
With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
