Senaida Lopez, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted member of her community, passed away on August 28, 2024 at the age of 81. Born on June 23, 1943, Senaida dedicated much of her life to serving others, both her career as an Athletic Administrative Secretary at South San High School and her numerous volunteer efforts, particularly at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
She adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, Senaida's legacy is profoundly marked by her unwavering love for her family. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-eight years, Frank Lopez, III; her son, Frank Michael Lopez; her daughter, Christina Marie Escamilla; and her brothers, Pedro "Pete" (Diana) De Los Santos and Higinio "Gene" (Alicia) De Los Santos. Also left to remember her are her sister, Elbia (Michael) Morris, and her beloved grandchildren, Nicholas Ryan (Devyn) Lopez, Ethan Michael Lopez; great-grandchildren, Alexis Lopez, Wyatt Lopez, and Waylon Lopez.
Senaida was known for her vibrant personality and diverse interests. She found joy in dancing, scrapbooking, and sewing, each hobby reflecting her creative spirit. Additionally, her strong faith in our Lord guided her actions throughout her life. As a devout Catholic, she consistently sought to lend a helping hand where needed, embodying the true spirit of community service.
She was predeceased by her parents, Francisco and Matilde De Los Santos, and her sister, Minerva Mosely. Senaida's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, and her contributions to her family and community will be forever cherished. She will be remembered not only for her accomplishments but for the warmth and kindness that she brought into the lives of others.
