Shibu Geevarughese Kuncheriah

Dr. Shibu Kuncheriah, age 42, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 4th, 2016. He was born on March 21, 1974 in Mundiapally, Kerala to proud parents, Mr. P.V. Kuncheria and Mrs. Aleyamma Kuncheria. He graduated in 1998 from the Temple School of Pharmacy. However, his true passion and calling in life was to help others. He pursued this goal by attending the Temple School of Medicine, where he graduated in 2002.
Through his expertise in medicine and experience in life, he sought to combine ministry with medicine in order to help mentally struggling adolescents find Christ at a tender age. He fulfilled his dream by completing a fellowship in adolescent psychiatry. Shibu truly lived a Christian life by spreading God’s message to everyone who crossed his path. He was a loving son, a devoted husband, a wonderful brother, and, most importantly, an amazing father. He is survived by his wife, Lincy, 5 wonderful children: Josiah, Hannah, Elijah, Keziah, and Micaiah, his parents P.V. and Aleyamma Kuncheria, and his four older sisters, Sherly, Sheela, Shyla, and Shiny.
