Sonia G Ibarra

Mrs. Sonia Gomez Ibarra, age 69, born on December 16, 1945, in San Antonio Texas has gone to her heavenly home with the Lord. She is preceded in death by her mother Dolores Herrera Gomez and her father Roman Gomez, Sr. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, & grandmother. She is survived by her husband Luis Alan Ibarra Leal, daughters Lola E. Rodriguez-Chandler (Michael), Rebecca B. Gonzalez (Gabriel), brother Roman Gomez, Jr., sisters, Dolores Knight, Vicki Ortiz (Gilbert), grandchildren Rayne & John, nieces Elizabeth Arguello, Deirdre Ortiz, Romy Castaneda, nephews Lee Knight, Michael Knight, Erick Ortiz, Nicholas Gomez & John Gomez. She was an amazing woman who loved her family and took every opportunity to live a full life. We are deeply saddened to lose her and she is, and will always be, truly missed by her family and friends.
She graduated from Brackenridge H.S. and after raising two daughters worked for companies that greatly benefited from her excellent work ethic & accounting skills.
