Mrs. Cortez is survived by her husband, Arcadio Castaneda; her son, Gene Vega; her daughter, Sandra Rodriguez; her brothers, Crespin Cortez, Jr., Roland Cortez, Jesse Cortez, Raymond Cortez, Juan Cortez, Robert Cortez; her sisters, Evangelina Jimenez, Oralia Contreras; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
