Stephen Paul Oravecz, born March 23rd, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio, departed this world at the age of 66 on Monday, April 22nd, 2024. He was a cherished son, brother, father, and friend whose spirit was shaped by the values instilled by his parents, Stephen and Lucille Oravecz.
Steve is survived by his wife, Celia, two sons, Stephen, Joseph, and "daughter he never had" Kristyn, to include his loving siblings, Chris, Ken, Annette, and Pete Oravecz. His legacy of love, laughter, and perseverance lives on in the hearts of them all.
He found joy in sharing his favorite teams, including the Cleveland Browns, Indians, and the San Antonio Spurs.
His evenings were filled bonding over cherished TV shows like MST3K, King of Queens, and Everybody Loves Raymond, often times reciting punch lines with his sons. Steve had a fondness for sweets, hunting, fishing, gaming, and the occasional Macanudo Cigar. For those who knew him best, the art of "resting" was a defining aspect of his character.
"SteveO" was a dedicated professional with Associated Press before concluding his career as a senior motive technician at Concentric, leaving an indelible mark on all who worked along side him.
