Susie H. Salas

Susie Salas, born December 14, 1952 passed from this life on July 14, 2021 at the age of 68. She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan L. and Susana Herrera; brothers, Juan G. Herrera Jr., and Larry Garcia Herrera. Susie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Rafael Salas Sr.; sons, Adrian Salas, and Rafael Salas Jr.; daughters Christina Salas, and Laura S. Villanueva sisters, Amalia Alvarado, Frances Morales, Jeanette De Luna, and Diana Huron; grandchildren Viviana Alessandra Villanueva, and Jacob Isaac Salas; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends. Susie was an amazing woman who put God and family first. She loved bargain shopping, vibrant colors, warm blankets, movies, music, singing, and a great cup of coffee to go with all her conversations. Anyone who knew her was likely given motherly advice that was both true and somehow always right. She was strong in her beliefs and was the best wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend anyone could ever ask for. She holds a special place in heaven and in our hearts for eternity.
