Terry Lynn McGarity, a beloved creator of beautiful gardens and a devoted husband and grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2023, with the love of his life by his side. Born on December 21, 1959, Terry lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for his family.

Throughout his life, Terry was known for his playful personality. He was a man full of love and life, who shared his joy through laughter and a penchant for telling jokes. His friends and family will forever remember him as someone who embraced fun and created a welcoming atmosphere wherever he went.

Terry devoted himself to cultivating breathtaking gardens that not only beautified the landscape but also brought people together. His passion for gardening was a testament to his nurturing spirit, and he took pride in sharing the fruits of his labor with loved ones.

He is survived by his loving wife, Helen, and his cherished grandchildren: Nathan, Riley, Miya, William, Noah, Logan, and Khrissy. Terry will also be deeply missed by his brothers Benny, Jerry, Wayne, Sid, and Ernie, as well as his sisters Barbara, Pamela, and Alice. He was additionally a treasured by his extended family, William, JoAnn, Keith, Tommy, Linda, and Sharon.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Bennie. The legacy of his joyful spirit and unwavering love for his family will continue to resonate within the hearts of all who knew him.
