Thomas "Tom" Gerald Guesman, 86, of Live Oak, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.
He was born in Brownsville, PA, on June 21, 1930, to the late Lawrence and Anna Mae Guesman. Thomas graduated from Brownsville High School in 1948 and enlisted in the Air Force August 31, 1950. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal with 1 bronze oak leaf cluster, the Air Force Commendation Medal with two bronze oak leaf clusters, the Air Force Good Conduct Medal with one silver oak leaf cluster and the Army Good Conduct Medal with two bronze service loops. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the Air Force never left him, as friends and family will attest.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Woodward, Leroy, Arthur and Donald Guesman and his sisters Ruth E. Bateman, Gertrude Pellick and a half-sister Ruthie Lint.
Those left to cherish his memory are Jeanie, his wife of 26 years, his daughter Betty Jo and her husband Fred Ungerleider, a granddaughter Tiffany and her husband Alex White, two great-grand children, Madeline and Mason White, and many loving extended family members and friends.
