Tommie Milton Hood Tommie M. Hood, 74, Live Oak, Texas, formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana, died at his home on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Tommie was born November 27, 1937 in Monroe County, Kentucky to Prentise and Annie Mae (Brown) Hood. He grew up in Monroe County Kentucky, where he graduated from Gamaliel High School in 1955. He married Barbara (Holland) Hood in 1957 and moved to Indianapolis, IN where they had four children: Mark (deceased), Pam, Pat and Cindy. He remarried in 1974 to Evelyn (Hawkins) Isenberg, they remained in Indianapolis until moving to Tx in 1995. They recently celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary. Tommie was always industrious. He worked at Allison Transmission, drove for Roselyn Bakery and Metro Bus and was the proud owner of Hoods Standard Oil at Madison Avenue and Pleasant Run Parkway. Tommie was an avid sportsman, he loved being outdoors, RVing at Canyon Lake, fishing, golfing and playing basketball. His favorite golf course was the first course he ever played- Sarah Shank in Indianapolis. He never met a stranger and always enjoyed visiting with his many friends and neighbors. Preceding him in death were: infant son Mark, and father Prentise, brother Terry. Survivors include: wife Evelyn (Hawkins) Isenberg Hood-Live Oak, TX, mother Annie Mae (Brown) Hood-Fountain Run, KY, children Pamela (Kerry) Childress-Martinsville, IN, Pat (Jennifer) Hood-Indianapolis, IN, Cynthia (Robert) Collings-Coldwater, MI, Greg (Alissa) Isenberg-Westport, IN. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews.

Cemetery:
Per Mr. Hood's wishes his remains will be interred in Fountain Run, KY at a later date.
