Trinidad De Santiago

Trinidad Trini De Santiago passed from this life January 3, 2012. He was a native Texan born in San Antonio on November 18, 1917. Trini served in the Army toward the end of World War II. He served in France and Germany. He was once asked what he thought of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, his response was typical it was ok. A man of few words yet very social. On any given day he made his rounds driving his 65 Falcon, with the little banderita waving, to several homes to check on the family and friends. He drove even as late as one month ago. He was a master at Mexican Bingo. When asked about his bout with cancer his response was always faith-filled yo me pongo en las manos del Senor He professed Jesus Christ as Saviour and attended faithfully Blessings Community Church. We all knew that his life here on earth would end, we just thought that maybe we would have more time with him. He will be missed. He is survived by his daughter, Lydia Gonzales and son Leonard De Santiago, grandchildren Hope Isaac De Santiago Elya, Gabriela-Fe and Joshua Gonzales along with many loved ones, in particular the De La Cruz family, and friends .

Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery Tuesday, January 10, 2012 9:30 A.M. arrival.

Visitation will be Monday, January 9, 2012 from 5:00pm until 8:00 pm with Prayer Service at 7:00pm, Puente Sons Funeral Chapels,3520 S. Flores St.,San Antonio, Texas 78204

A Chapel Service will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 8am at Puente Sons Funeral Chapels.
