Varghese T. Yohannan

Varghese T. (Thenmadathil) Yohannan, beloved father and grandfather, from San Antonio, TX, was taken to his eternal home on February 26, 2014. Mr. Yohannan was born January 31, 1940, in Kerala, India to Varkey and Mariamma Yohannan. He suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on December 1, 2013, and remained in the hospital at Kolencherry M.O.S.C. Medical College in Hospital in Kerala, India until he passed away.

Mr. Yohannan was a retiree of the Oklahoma State Dept of Central Printing. Although working as a Printing Technologist for many years, his primary focus and heart was in ministry. Mr. Yohannan received his B.A. in Ministry in 1976 from Midwest Christian College and was currently enrolled in an online joint degree program for his M.Div. and D. Min. He was a true servant of The Lord and sponsored and supported many churches and ministries, and served on their Boards as well as in the position of Asst. Pastor. Despite a heart attack in 2005, he remained physically active and was involved with activities at the local Senior Citizen center.

Mr. Yohannan is predeceased by his beloved wife, Kunjamma Yohannan (1949-2012), his parents, and five siblings(T.V.John, T.V. Thomas,T.V.Koshy, Thankamma Peedikayil & Sosamma Chantrapurathil) and survived by his daughters Biny, Bincy, Betsy, and grandchildren Michael, Caleb, Cianna, Alyssa, and Daniel, as well as two siblings (T.V.Kurian and Ponnamma Chittappasseril) and several nieces and nephews, including two in the U. S( John Thenmadathil & Mini Abraham Pannikottu).

Funeral Service is also being held in India on March 6, 2014 at 7:30 A.M. Kolencherry Hospital
