Velma Oralia Vidal, born in San Antonio, TX on January 14th 1939, has made her journey to her heavenly home to meet with our Lord. At the age of 83 on Friday, 1 April, 2022.

The time has come for me to fly free to meet my Lord - the ultimate joy of flying.”

She is preceded in death by her parents Gregorio Vidal, Oralia Huron Vidal, and brother Paul Vidal. Velma is survived by sister Viola Vidal, sons and daughter in laws Gary and Maribeth Garcia, Ralph and Sylvia Garcia, Jerry and Sandra Garcia, and daughter Valerie Quintero. Her grandchildren Greg, Felisha, Alexa, Elias, Rebekah, Jacob, and Joshua. Great-grandchildren Madison, Riley, Sylas and Zya.
Velma was a loving sister and friend. a minister of God, and a doting mom and grandmother, who led by example. She exuded joy with her contagious smile and positive attitude, which allowed her to live life to the fullest. She enjoyed painting, traveling, writing, instructing fitness classes, religious studies and church activities, building relationships with numerous friends and family, entrepreneurial endeavors, genealogy research, interest in local and national politics which affected her community.
