William (Bill) Boyce Kolb Jr

June 16, 1940 — April 21, 2009

William (Bill) Boyce Kolb Jr. went to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 21, 2009 after a long illness.
Bill was born in Grapeland Texas and grew up and lived in the Arlington area.
Bill is survived by his wife Ruth Kolb of New Braunfels, Texas. Sister Carmen Walker and husband Larry of Dallas Texas. Sons, Kyle and wife Carla of Crowley Texas and Wade Kolb of Arlington, TX. Stepson Marty McHenry and his wife Jan of Sugarland Texas.
Grandchildren Kelvin Kolb, Kori Kolb, Keith Stoker, Kyle McHenry, Kelsey McHenry, Grace McHenry.
Great granddaughter, Olivia Stoker, and dear close friends Ernie and Debbie Freeland.

Bill served his country as a captain in the United Air Force and worked as a computer programmer.
Bill loved traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved to take them fishing and spending time outdoors.
During his illness, Bill never lost his Faith and continued to be a great example of a Christian husband, father, grandfather and friend. Bill was a kind soul with a huge heart and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. We have all lost a precious treasure.
Visitation will be held Thursday April 23, 2009 from 5:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. at Puente and Sons Funeral Chapels. A memorial service will be held Friday April 24, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 1147 S. Walnut New Braunfels, Texas. A procession will follow to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. The family requests contributions to be made to Hope Hospice New Braunfels.
