William Christian Weigler

March 31, 1958 — July 31, 2010

William (Bill) Christian Weigler, beloved husband, father, son brother passed on into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior at 4:22am on Saturday, July 31, 2010, at his home after a long illness. Bill was born on March 31, 1958 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from Burnsville High School in 1976. Following his graduation, he enlisted with the U.S. Marine Corps and after serving four years continued his education at UT. Bill received a BS in Electrical Engineering. He worked for Motorola in Seguin since 1987 as a Senior Process Engineer. In 2008, Bill was awarded with a patent for S.W.A.B. (Solder Wick Array Board), a device designed to reduce defects on circuit boards.
Bill is survived by his wife, Melissa of 26 years, and their three children: Elizabeth, William and Andrew. He is also survived by his parents: William Bertha Weigler of Austin; Siblings: John Weigler of Colorado, Barbara Weigler of Minnesota, and Natalia McGee of Austin. Also surviving is grandson, Maxx Weigler of New Braunfels.
Bill was a long time member of Freedom Fellowship Church in New Braunfels. He loved the outdoors and especially mountain biking with his family and friends. He had a passion for cars and building things. His love for Christ was evident every day of his life and in his sensitive, selfless, kind, caring and giving spirit. He will be greatly missed, always remembered, and leaves us with many loving memories.The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Hope Hospice for the care they provided during Bill's illness. Memorial contributions may be made in Bill's name at Hope Hospice, 611 N. Walnut Ave., New Braunfels, TX 78130.

A memorial service will be held at Freedom Fellowship Church, 410 Oak Run Point, New Braunfels on Thursday, August 5 at 10:30 a.m.
