William Michael Higgs 'Cibolo Mike'

William Michael Higgs, known locally and affectionately as Cibolo Mike, passed away November 24, 2010 at the age of 59.
Mike was born in Holly, Michigan. Heraised a family in Safford, Arizona and eventually came to Cibolo, Texas, where he made many friends, among those Dave Barry, whomhe considered to be like a brother. Mike loved working in his auto shop and hanging out with his kids and grandkids.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy and William Higgs. Survivors are daughter Melissa Higgs-Arrellin and her husband Richard; son William Michael Higgs, Jr. and his girlfriend Leelee Poyson; sisters Cathy Mosley and her husband Mike; Darla Smeltekop and her husband Carl; grandaughters Abby, Tabitha, Mikelle, and Brittany; and his only grandson Richy Stewie Arrellin.
