William Slay

William O. Slay, age 61, passed away Sunday October 17, 2021 at home in Devine, Texas . Billy was born in Chipley Florida, and spent most of his life in the Florida area. Billy served in the United States Navy for over 11 years, including the time during Desert Storm. He is preceded in death by his Mother Irene Finch Slay. Billy is survived by his wife Cynthia ( Cindy ) Slay; sons Patrick Slay ( Heather ); Will Slay; Ben Slay ; Daughter Rebekah Rogers (Jason) ; Jessica Stewart ( Donald ). Brothers Stephen Slay ( Karen );Robert Slay; Joesph Slay ( Amy). Sisters Barbara Gibson ; Sharon Bagnall ; Martha Crow ( John ). 10 grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews and other loved ones. Billy was loved by so many, he enjoyed piddling around the farm. But most of all had a passion in caring and keeping bees.
In lieu of flowers, Billy always wanted to give back and/or pay it forward.
